Moscow ~ Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Holy Virgin Mary ~ neo-Gothic church built 1901-11 ~ closed in 1938 and threatened with demolition, it was used after the war as a warehouse, then a hostel ~ Following the fall of communism in 1991, it returned to being a church in 1996. Then a cathedral in 2002.

Worms Cathedral, Germany~ the original building consecrated in 1110. The remainder was mostly finished by 1181, but the west choir and the vaulting were built in the 13th century, the elaborate south portal was added in the 14th century, and the central dome has been rebuilt.
