Ingredients:

•  1 1/2 cups salted butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/4 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
• food coloring (optional)
• 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour

For decorating:

• assorted sprinkles
• semi-sweet chips.
